commented on Your Dog Sucks
I hate dogs. I was once attacked by one, and the owner was going, "He won't hurt you! Here boy!"
I told him to grab it by its fucking collar already, instead of ineffectually shouting for the widdle puppy doggy (that was neither little nor a puppy -- it was a terrifyingly large full grown beast). The owner told me that the doggy's usually never like this. I told him if that dog ever gets near me again, I'm calling the cops on the mutt.
Funnily enough, I never DID see that dog again.

@48: fair point, and I'm sorry I maligned the South -- but the sane people should be a hell of a lot louder! I live in the Northeast, and the Southerners I tend to hear about are... just fucking NUTS.

I skip these news stories; my blood pressure can't take it. I just repeat to myself I am lucky to live in a state, in a time, when gay marriage is legal, and that I have come out (more or less, it's basically the openest "secret" in the family that I'm a dyke).
ANYWAY, I just wanted to point this line out: "Terry and I got so gay last night that we rear-ended three people."
Please please tell me that pun was intentional. I laughed so hard!

Da-aaa-aaa-an, stop writing about stuff I find disgusting! It makes me wanna throw up! Why can't you take out the shit I hate in a popular advice column and just write the stuff that makes MEEE happy???
commented on Straight Guys More Depressed and Stressed Than Out Gay and Bi Guys
I used to think women could get away with a lot more (and we still can get away with more than straight guys in terms of interests, hobbies, etc), but I find a lot more freedom since I ID as a lesbian. I'm very butch, and when people thought I was straight, I'd get looks and comments for being so masculine, but now people are just like, "Oh, it's a dyke, whatever." It's VERY freeing.

@30 -- I don't intend to let her know. I WANT the Republicans to keep doing shit like this so that they end up more and more to the fringe.
Also, @3 -- So FUNNY!

I'd be really careful trying it -- while it does sound possible (I defer to previous commenters who have offered suggestions on how to do it) -- you can also really hurt your back. I had to stop giving my significantly younger (and lighter!) sister piggyback rides because one day, when I was straightening with her on my back, it cracked and I was out of commission for two or three days.
