Or, she could have gotten a false positive from the Blood Bank. Those tests are made to make more false + than false -. She may have gotten retested at the Dr and come out negative.

Dan kinda missed the point of 2. LW's not saying he only wants friendship. He's saying he wants to date, but take the physical part slowly. That's a perfectly normal, valid, and indeed fulfilling way to do things. Most of Dan's advice still applies. Tell "Dave" you want to date him, but that you want to take things slowly and not jump into sex. If he cares about you as a whole person, he'll stick around and respect your boundaries. If he doesn't, he'll disappear or he'll pressure you, and either way, he's a jerk and you're better off without him.

Geez, Dan. Generally not wanting to be touched does not mean sexual anxiety, and not wanting to get creepy comments about one's looks from one's own father does not mean LW is uncomfortable with her looks. However, I agree that LW should discuss the situation with her therapist. Therapist are required by law not to disclose anything that goes on in therapy, unless someone is in immediate danger, but it doesn't sound like this is the case for LW.
