Re pronouns: Based on this comment thread, there seems to be an implication that there are anecdotal examples of people using the wrong pronoun when talking to someone. I don't see how this would come up. The only pronoun that I ever use to refer to someone that I'm talking to is 'you'. Why would someone use a third-person pronoun of any kind in this situation?

I wonder if Alain Resnais will make it into the death reel. What's the turnaround time on a thing like that?

Now that's an example of blowback I can get behind. (That sounded dirty)

"A Tale of Two Titties" is fine, but I'm disappointed you didn't go with my favorite spoonerism of all time -- "A Sale of Two Titties".

I'm impressed that this thread has had 77+ comments without a single troll (with the possible exception of #63, Kim in Portland)

@anyone
I'm a cab driver. I once kicked someone out of my cab for being a homophobic dipshit. Was I within my legal rights? I'm just curious. No matter what the answer is I will still continue to do it in the future.

Personally, I remember him most from "The History Boys". A delicious performance.

@56 -- It seems that you missed my point. Discrimination and protected class has nothing to do with it. Just as meat is not on the menu of a vegetarian restaurant, the sign maker is free to not have hate speech on their "menu".

@42 -- Can't the sign makers say they don't sell signs with a hateful message, that it is not a product they offer. It would be like a vegetarian restaurant refusing to sell meat to someone.
