OK, it is awesome that The Stranger is covering the Occupy Seattle protest, but I can think of a bazillion other protests that The Stranger either didn't cover or, at best, simply mocked. So, I guess better late than never... but you should be humble that it's taken you this long - not proud that you're finally taking some notice.

@21 Unification and focus develop over time and with experience. A movement like this springs up somewhat spontaneously, from the overwhelming frustration and anger people feel about the disparity of incomes in this country. Also, these things are very fluid. If you're waiting until it's a nice, neat, obvious protest before you join, then that will be never.

So glad I came across this review. This album was not even on my radar - I'm only a sometimes fan of PJ Harvey - and now it's possibly one of my favorite albums of the decade...
