I love how well the illustrator highlights her foaming-at-the-mouth psychosis! Her anger even caused her glasses to fly off.

Come on, let's let them finish repairing the cutter wheel bearings and see whether or not they can continue drilling before we pull the plug.

If Bertha continues to fuck up after the repairs, then she should totally be put down, but let's at least give them a chance to get back on track.

@22

If you want to talk about it without seeing any "I don't use FB" comments, there's an easy fix... go talk about it on Facebook.

Sep 18, 2014 Ernie1 commented on Only 6 Percent of Workers on City Construction Projects Live in Seattle, Council Considers Local-Hiring Mandate.
I could see one of the unintended consequences of a policy like this being bosses saying to their employees "I need 5 of you to move to Seattle or I'm going to have to replace 5 people on the project with people who live in the city limits." That would mean an effective pay cut for anyone willing to make that choice to keep their job.

I wouldn't be surprised if people don't actually choose to move out of Seattle as their construction career advances. For people who work a a fixed location in the city there is an advantage to living close to work and having a short commute. Construction workers work all over the metro area, one job might be in Federal Way and the next might be in Everett, there is no way to plan a short commute, so why not live somewhere where you get the most for your money?

Funny, I had exactly the same reaction recently when my wife was watching Real Housewives of Atlanta. I commented that they have to manufacture drama for the cameras because they don't have any real problems to deal with.

Of course except for the token blonde bimbo, they are all African American, so just maybe, it has more to do with class than race.

I saw the "horn" as being a part of the anchor, with Yoda's severed head impaled on it.

Struggled to figure out what that has to do with Seattle, except for the anchor and the mustache, of course...
