Tom or whoever this is....raise your prices a bit, sure. I guess you like your profit more than I like my available money to spend eating out, whatever. I'm more interested in my wait staff to be paid well than that whole argument.
But politicize it? Be a little bitch about it? I'll never go back to your place, and I'll spend the money at your competitors instead. I did the same with Cherry Street the last round of this we went through.

Thank you @4.
By this (third? forth?) article I will just say it, this is by far the dumbest thing you have railed against Charles, and I normally rail right there with you.
Maybe it's generational, but I absolutely hate checkout cashier interaction, and will spend all of my yearly grocery money at whatever store is close, not crappy, and has the machines.
Time isn't money, time is enjoyment of life, and I want to enjoy my short time on earth. Do I want a waiter at a restaurant? Sure. But can I get my own stupid and fast tasks done without bs chatter and slowdowns? Damn right I can. And I'll vote with my dollars.

I find them faster 99% of the time, and it takes away the fake small talk one has to go through or politely reject each time. I am almost always in a hurry, so I will always go to whichever store has self checkout.

I would LOVE this. Makes for great walking/touring/searching/etc. The standard free wall spots, all of Baso's work, some higher end graffiti spots that are off the beaten path.
Sculpture's cool too, why not. OH! And the poetry mailbox house around Greenwood.
I'd be up for working on it, although I'd be better on the backend than the mobile code.
At the same time, I'd be concerned about how much it's updated or used. I love our art, but this isn't NYC, LA, Paris, etc. Yet. : )
