He is being sooo mean to David Brooks!

Worth noting: the McKenna full page ad is opposite a full page WALMART ad for the new store in Bellevue at Factoria Mall. Same color scheme, similar layout.

Coincidence, or a byproduct of the mutual admiration of McKenna, Walmart, and the despicable Seattle Times?

St Clouds in Madrona. kid-friendly (kids meals come with sundaes) cocktails for grownups, good not-too-exotic food, great owner and staff.

Don't forget, Goldy, that Gregoire is shamelessly shilling for the business/GOP push to gut Workers Comp--a "reform" that will have zero impact on the budget, but will make Boeing rub her tummy. Never mind that it stabs in the back the folks who walked precincts and phone banked on her behalf in two elections.

Boeing not "Bowing" though the latter is what the Times did.

Look, Boeing can put a plant anywhere it wants to, and it's between the company and the local authorities. The NLRB got involved because Bowing announced to the world that it was locating the plant in SC in retaliation for an IAM strike. That's plainly illegal, and the NLRB called them on it.

I'm a strong supporter of the Arts/Convention Center bill, but this is the worst attempt to lobby a legislator I've ever seen. Sellars comes across as entitled and Seattle-centric, completely failing to engage with Hatfield on his priorities.

Apr 14, 2011 nedludd2 commented on Seattle Places 11th on List of 10 Best Cities for Public Transit!.
I don't know if transit access for people with disabilities is part of the ranking system, but New York is among the worst. Very few subway stops are wheelchair accessible, and recent bus cutbacks disportionately affect folks with disabilities. As a wheelchair-user, I find it easier to get around in Mexico City than in New York.
