Yeah, chloroform doesn't knock you out (except by asphyxiation, but anything that's not air/oxygen can do that). It just makes you feel really woozy and weird and we think it gives you cancer.

What the hell is up with LW2 there? Her husband spirals into crippling depression, so her reaction is "time for an affair because Dan Savage told me it's okay!"? Does that sound monstrously selfish to anyone else? How about trying to push for treatment and help your husband rather than worrying about whether you're getting laid enough?

Not down with the answer to NCAT. People are into but ashamed of all sorts of porn that's not illegal or morally wrong. I agree with whoever it was who said ask if there's illegal content, if there's not, leave it alone.
Forcing someone to show you something they're ashamed of is only going to drive a wedge between you, and it will mostly likely just turn out to be something unusual (gay furry 3D rendered porn, e.g.) instead of something illegal.

commented on Is Secretary Just as Bad as Fifty Shades? Erika Moen On the Other Mr. Grey
The problem with 50 Shades, in my eyes, isn't that it got BDSM wrong, it's the multiple rape scenes, the stalking across state lines, you know, shit like that.
None of which happens in Secretary.
Erika Moen also wrote a review of 50 Shades and said it was like junk food, not good but occasionally hits the spot, so...I find her whole take on the issue really depressing. It's a book about rape and emotional abuse, there's nothing acceptable about it.

I'm sure this is 100% real and definitely happened exactly this way, mmhmm.
