Makes me yearn for the days when I DJed at Rice University's KTRU Radio in Houston and they not only encouraged us to play stuff outside of the box, but demanded it. Why yes, I will play Naked City at 11am on a Tuesday morning, and follow it up with local thrashers Insect Warfare. I didn't go so far to play any long, drawn-out John Wiese track, but fuck it, Rusted Shut was practically easy listening around KTRU.
