By this logic, the camera man owns the rights to every film ever made. It doesn't work that way, or at least it shouldn't. Who care's who pushed the button. The photographer made the picture happen, published his photo, and then it was stolen. The thief cannot declare that the victim didn't really own it after the fact.

Oh finally, a source of elusive and hard to find celebrity gossip. Just what I was looking for cause I care so much about what these people are doing.

Maybe my experience is unique, but I doubt it. I always bought weed from people that I knew, who either grew their own or knew the people that did the growing, and I *always* knew what I was buying. I don't think I ever got a misrepresented bag from one of my regular dealers because that would be bad business in a place like Seattle where good dealers and growers are pretty thick on the ground.

Maybe controversial, but I think that smoking a blunt while walking around a crowded greenlake is just as rude as chain-smoking cigarettes.

I really don't care if someone wants to smoke outside, but I think that a basic courtesy would be to do so in a place that is not packed with other people who are not smoking. I think it is safe to say that most people don't want to walk 2 miles in a cloud of your second-hand smoke.

Maybe try rolling out of bed earlier so that you can use the shitter first. Too much work?
Jul 15, 2014 highside commented on Transgender Pagliacci Employee Fired, Then Offered Job Back, After Complaining About Customer Harassment.
This is a clear case of discrimination. A biological female or make would have list their job immediately after they initiated a confrontation with a customer for a perceived prior slight, and they would not have been hired back. This person was offered a new job entirely because of their transgender status. If you can't deal with idiots you have no pace in retail.

*Most* cops, and not just Seattle asshole cops, do not want to have to encounter people that they arrested when they go to Denny's with their kids on Sunday.

Even cops in small towns *often* live in neighboring towns for this reason. It is not really all that unreasonable.

Also, 80% of the blue-collar workers in all professions in Seattle probably also live outside of the Seattle limits due to the cost of living in town and the fact that in Seattle the burbs are pretty damn close.

Isn't gun violence already pretty illegal? Can it be *more* illegal?

Not a parody...

"Back in 2000 at a company I then worked at, I patiently attempted to explain to a typical Californian solipsist (and halfwitted airhead) that making all her purchases through Amazon was detrimental to the existence of local book sellers, eventually allowing for Amazon's creation of a monopoly, after which they would then squeeze their customers. (This person would later return to Cali to work for the Bush family-owned Northrup Grumman.)"

Did you eat crow when, 15 years later, books are cheaper and more plentiful than they have ever been before?
