@4,6,10, adding to the consensus. I am also bi and monogamous. Pretty much posting to say exactly what 10 said. Sure I'm attracted to both, but that doesn't mean I need to have sex with both. It's like saying that because a monosexual is attracted to more than one person of the sex they're attracted to, that they need to have sex with them. It just doesn't follow. Sure you may want to, but as Dan has said, monogamy isn't easy for anyone. That's why it's a valuable commitment (if it's something you value)

I'm with 6 and 7, I've watched/listened to your story multiple times Dan and it always moves me to tears. It's beautiful, and the love you and your mother demonstrate is what life is all about.
Thanks for sharing this letter too. It is also touching and I'm pleased to hear how far he and his mother have come. Such courage!

I think that the important distinction here is if he was cybersexing with an ex gf, because that would be grounds for feeling betrayed and hurt. If he was just looking at porn though, and you just feel like this was on par with him sexing it up with an ex or something, then you should follow Dan's advice, because you're over reacting.

Dear Childless H. My parents dragged my brother and I to live in Africa when we were kids. Argentina too. We went north of the Arctic Circle... The travelling didn't stop because my parents had kids. I'm grateful for it. It made for an excellent childhood.
Also, my mum still says that travelling with kids opened doors that my parents couldn't otherwise have opened on their own. People are more receptive to small kids and less likely to be suspicious of families.
