@3: The only vested interest pundits should have is maintaining their integrity. That's why you see the more absurd ones like Dick Morris predict a Romney landslide with the more established (Rove, Krauthammer, Kristol, and Hume) play it more accurately and conservatively (small 'c').
If you had read my comment in @2 more closely, you would have ascertained that I don't think Romney has a good chance on winning. Hence, not I will not drive down to the Stranger's Headquarters with $500 to meet yours. I don't do things that don't make sense.

Goldy, the first item was funny. The last item was not funny because the first item was already funny.

You're "urge to keep away" is echoing Krugman Paul. How in the world do you think affects anything in the universe if someone reads a far-fetched projection that Romney wins by a hefty margin?
Parents urge their children not to play with matches. Pundits don't urge their readers to keep away from other punditry.

@3: One does not need the adjective 'Catholic' to modify the noun 'Pope'.
And he doesn't run America.

@15: Read the last paragraph of @6.

Video/audio juxtapositions of unrelated events (no matter what the content) are inherently sophomoric and really only serve "preach to the choir" targeted audiences.

This is the kind of silliness that actually backfires with independents.

@4, @6: Thanks
@5: I will simply expire. My last commentary will be on Wednesday.

So readers trying to piece together what McKenna's proposed language actually was, will have difficulty even with all the links in this post. So where was the sentence, and what was the sentence (about redefining marriage) and how exactly would have that sentence been placed on the ballot? Or was that even known?

I'm not saying McKenna wasn't doing this, I just want to see the exact verbiage he was proposing.

@31: Yes, they can "just ask for it":

New Mother: "I want to switch to the bottle now, so please get the"
Nurse: "Are you sure?"
New Mother: "Yes"
Nurse: "But studies have shown that babies"
New Mother: "JUST GET ME THE DAMN FORMULA!"
Nurse: "Yes, ma'am. It will be a few minutes. I'll be back."
