The War on Cabs.
Cabs are nearly always a nightmare. It's not surprising that something better has come along.

I loved it! Though it was probably the most understated of the vignettes, the part where he drove his daughter home from the party devastated me. It felt like a short story. It was perfect.
How beautiful was the whole movie? So gorgeous.

The American Movie Theater Business Isn't Looking Good.
I love movie theaters and movies. I love them so, so much, you guys. One thing America needs added back to the movie-going experience? HUCKSTERISM! I want a spectacle, I want a gimmick. Give me double features or theme nights or whatever else your conniving capitalist brain can dream up. I'll be there, front row, happily eating my $7 popcorn. Just make it worth it.

@26 He died before the film was made. So I guess we can't really make much of him... but still, I will speculate:
*He reportedly was not very excited to hear his little brother was found. Was that because he knew he wasn't really his brother? Is that because he saw through Bourdin but didn't want to be responsible for his little brother again disappearing from his family's lives? Or because he knew his brother was dead? Or maybe he had guilt about the disappearance in the first place?
*He reported that his little brother may have been trying to break into the house one night after his disappearance, which seems off.
