Black Sabbath Are Coming to The Gorge.
This is offensive, LiveNation bastards: "Produced by Rick Rubin, 13 features the original BLACK SABBATH: OZZY OSBOURNE, TONY IOMMI and GEEZER BUTLER."

Yeah, the idea of pushing the original drummer out of an otherwise original lineup just because he didn't want to be treated (financially and otherwise) like an employee is just lame. Ruins (for me) what might have been something fun.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Jinkx Monsoon.
Since @7 is obviously aimed at me, please see my other comments. Not so much snark as just Little Edie overload lately, seeing an image that didn't match, and posting without thinking. I can't delete my comments, so there they are. So no willful anything, no ego going on. Sorry. Schmader, feel free to delete my comments if you're able, lest this thread turn into me-bashing rather than celebrating the performance.

I don't remember ever seeing Little Edie with makeup slathered on, besides some drawn-on eyebrows to replace the ones that fell out. Doesn't look very Little Edie-ish. That is all.

@19: all well and good. But your temp username makes me wonder what YOU do for a living, and if you will encourage me to steal whatever you make or otherwise help eliminate your job.

@13 - I can see that point. I was lumping you in with that "Free Seattle Times" thing that's been up on Slog, which I found pretty obnoxious. Sorry!

Nobody would notice if Seattle had no daily newspaper? Bullshit. Again, there's way more to the newspaper than who the owners/editorial board decide to endorse. Sorry so many people can't see that. And papers all over the country are failing. Even the New York Times is vulnerable. Should we blame the Blethens for that too? It's all their own fault, after all!

With regard to the paywall, what's with the contempt for the Seattle Times trying to make it financially? You really want a zero-newspaper town just because you don't agree with their endorsements? I don't either, but there's a hell of a lot more to having a paper than endorsements during the election cycle. Should we boycott The Stranger's advertisers because they're contributing to you guys putting food on your tables? JOURNALISM SHOULD BE FREE! I DESERVE FREE JOURNALISM!
