The Always Ugly Beacon Hill Branch Library.
I don't know if "humility" is a vibe libraries should be aiming for as they strain to remain relevant in the 21st century. If anything, this architecture—however distasteful it may be to you—might better convey the type of services they need to promote for today's crowd: access to language support, academic and research help, interactive online tutoring, and services like resume support and job searching for marginalized communities.

What Are the Five Most Hated Companies in America?.
I think JC Penney's mistake was beginning to sell themselves as something wildly unique and different without having first overhauled themselves. Kinda like photoshopping a thin version of your photo for a dating profile "cuz you're gonna lose weight in a couple months anyway." However how this made them the MOST hated company is beyond me.

I Believe!.
@3 maybe you should leave the comfort of the US to serve a Mormon mission in an impoverished third-world country, or maybe listen to the song in context before getting all harpy.
I love that not only did two brilliant artists take a life event of mine (before I came out and also became atheist) and not only make a show out of it, but pretty much the best show ever.

Mars Hill Church Not Actually Volunteering with Lifelong AIDS Alliance.
Sorry everyone, I fed Mars Hill the bad intel. I let them know that everyone on the Hill has HIV/AIDS (everyone!), and that they're all located on the Hill only—there aren't any other cases in any other neighborhood in Seattle. Also, I told them that everything they need to know about HIV/AIDS capped in 1992, so there's no need to study up on what's happened since then.

Mars Hill Church: Now Conveniently Closer to All the AIDS.
Goddamn it. I used to look at that building and swear to myself that if I ever won the lottery, I would buy it, lovingly restore it, and then make it the most fabulous roller derby rink in the universe. Truly there is no god, because for the universe to allow this douchecock to take that building for THIS is appalling.

"How Freakin Dare You?????".
Oh for fucks sake. The cover is wonderful—I would proudly frame it and put it in my home for my bigoted Mormon mother to see when (or if) she visits. Creating a visual of what right-wing nuts insist will be the result of marriage equality will only push their bigoted position even farther to the periphery.
I can't wait to point to this cover in 20 years and explain to my nieces and nephews that, yes, people actually said that this would be the result if marriage equality became a reality.
