Seattle Public Library has a pretty extensive collection of books for "check out", all already paid for by your taxes.…

Hey, remember earlier this year when Sam Reed was grumbling about how much it cost the state when Jay Inslee resigned to run for govenor full time? How much is this costing the state, Secretary Reed?

Just to play devil's advocate, I know I wasn't the only one holding my nose a little when I voted for Obama due to his stated view of marriage being between one man and one woman. The Log Cabin Republicans are making the same bet that I did, that their canidate's stated views to win votes are not the views he actually holds. That being said, if Mitt Romney wins (god forbid) he will have to deliver on some promises he made to a super conservative base to get re-elected, and what if the promise he delivers on is to stomp on the civil rights of gay people? Not worth the risk, even if you do like the 20% tax cut Romney keeps crowing about.

Does Washington State even use these voting machines?

Is this just because you guys are bummed about Obama's performance in the debate last night? I'm bummed too, but I'm going to cheer myself up by treating myself to a cookie after lunch, not ruining SLOG land for everyone for a whole day. Go have a fucking cookie, already.

Dear Randy, I agree that Jay Inslee comes across as a bit simple sometimes, but he stands on a party platform that protects my right to be the boss of my own reproductive organs. What does Rob McKenna think of his party's new platform? Is he in line with it 100%? Where does he differ?

Mr. McKenna, I would like to second 3's and 8's questions. Where would you find the revenue to fully fund our schools? Would you raise taxes? Would you cut vital social services? Is it fair to point the finger at our public schools and delcare "you suck!" when they have been chronically underfunded for so long? Isn't that a little like judging a beauty queen on her poise just after she's come off a three day bender?

Hi Rob McKenna, I'm a feminist too! Unlike you, I am a poor feminist who works two part time jobs and has no health insurance. My primary care provider is Planned Parenthood. I visit them three times a year for my birth control injection and a cholesterol test and once a year for both of those things plus a well woman check up where I am screen for cervical and breast cancer among other things. All of this, with the exception of the cholesterol test which I pay for out of pocket, is covered by Take Charge. I have never been offered an abortion at Planned Parenthood, probably because due to their fantastic care I have never been pregnant. My question to you is, if you are elected governor will I still be able to access this low cost quality care at my local Planned Parenthood Clinic? What will you do to ensure that poor women across the state have access the same great reproductive health care as I do?
