I suppose if this were for some product/service nobody had heard of, this might still be effective. But this is for Mountain Dew, which doesn't really have brand-awareness problems to solve.

This isn't like quirky-amusing in a fucked up sort of way, it's just like a bad pastiche of that. I didn't actually realize that was even possible. "Green-tinted video + porn-quality acting + animal" is not inherently a recipe for something amusing/catchy/brand-defining/whatever.

Hey, slog programmer, whoever you are, you know what would be a great feature? A little flag by newly-signed-up accounts. That would make it more obvious that "George H. Ruth" and "AmandaLynn" are the fresh new voices that they are (and appear only to be concerned with cheering on Ed Murray).

My estimation of US associations/stereotypes/whatever about Argentina (discarding incorrect ones that might actually be more popular, like Pinochet or something), in roughly descending order: Evita Peron, beef (mostly from the phrase "what does that have to do with the price of beef in Argentina?"), tango, Nazis in hiding, the currency crisis of a decade ago, the Falklands War, Jorge Luis Borges, Tierra del Fuego/penguins, gauchos...

I wonder what he was up to during the Dirty War. It sounds like Catholic priests in Argentina on both sides of the Dirty War were involved in killings. "Catholic priest Christian von Wernich was found guilty of complicity in 7 homicides, 42 kidnappings, and 32 instances of torture, and sentenced to life imprisonment in 2007."

Does anyone know who's the majority owner of Space Needle LLC? Is it the London-based multinational Balfour Beatty, which bought the Howard S. Wright Companies in 2011? According to this, Howard S. Wright III (the person) is only a minority owner.

@4, then I assume you only go outside nude to keep your clothing from picking up carcinogens.

Unless all acts are pre-approved in either list or flowchart form and checked off on by all parties ahead of time, it's rape.

Wait, no. Please try not to dilute the meaning of rape.

Oh jesus christ, what is this "Other" thing? I have 53 messages in here, and they all appear to be regarding the Kickstarter I did a few months ago. I look like a jerk. I had no idea this even existed.
