@ 2 No, only two other states passed marriage equality measures, Maryland and Maine. Minnesota rejected a measure that would have banned marriage equality at the level of their state constitution. Same-sex marriage still remains illegal in Minnesota.

@ 1 Comparing NOM to the KKK is as reckless as comparing the GOP to the Nazis. NOM is a hate group but last time I checked they were not lynching people out carrying out a systematic campaign of violent terror sharing LGBT people. Over exaggerated comparisons like that serve no useful purpose and paint the person making them a wingnut.

That being said this spin certainly smacks of desperation.

Jesus, this article is almost as lame as the one Constant put up about Molly Moons ice cream. Will you bother to do any research to determine if a lack of a South Seattle drop box is preventing registered voters in those area from voting? I think already know the answer.

And people are right. The downtown drop box is closer than Magnuson park. God only knows what zip code you gave for South Seattle.

@ 13 You do know there is a difference between an initiative and a referendum, right? A fairly large difference. Pedantry doesn't come into play when you are talking about two completely different functions of our political process. Also, if Mr. Goldstein is going to be journalist he should strive for accuracy in his reporting.
