Translation: I don't want people to show enthusiasm for things I don't like because I'm a child.

You are absolutely right, Paul. I subscribe to local channels simply so I can watch local sports at home. The minute I can stream live NFL from my computer I will say good-bye to cable tv.

Pioneer Square may be the best neighborhood for sandwiches and yet every lunch hour, without fail, Subway and Jimmy Johns both have lines extending out the door. I just don't understand it.

@2 You can set a show in mythica Africa and design your actors in black face and musical hall caricatures and it still wouldn't be cool.

@7 When you hail an Uber on you phone a description of the make/model of the car, the driver's name and their picture appear. You can easily verify it's the right car by the make/model and the driver by both physical description and by asking them what their name is (this is how the driver identifies the passenger, by the way; by asking your name).

Let's be fair: The Tony Awards are to NEW YORK theater what the Academy Awards are to movies.

Actors are human beings, too, and capable of genuine emotion.

A side note, as a professional actor, the good ones aren't falsifying emotion. The good ones are empathising with their character and their character's at a level where they feel genuin emotion.

Now go back under the bridge, troll.

For the amount of tv and movies I watch on Netflix it's still a better deal than the video store and Netflix doesn't have a predatory business model. I'm sorry to see local businesses failing but the video store business model, as it stands, is terrible. Furthermore, it's not like this whole Netflix thing is new. Video stores have had over a decade to adapt and they have refused to do so.

I don't see George RR Martin's writing as misogynistic. I see a misogyst world in which women have little power but despite that Martin writes some extremely feminist characters. Daenarys as a strong leader, Brienne as one of the best swords(wo)men in the land who defies all gender conformity. Arya as well.

I'm really surprised the disposable cartriges took off because the safety razor is still the best shave and the CHEAPEST. Seriously. You have to invest a little money in the saftey razor it self but double edged razor blades are so cheap it easily pays for itself before the year is out.

Try it. Just try it.
