@31 it never occurred to me how many people are pretty much totally OK and/or blase about how this scenario ended up. There is a classic Russian movie where the plot is exactly the same situation:

@23 No, just the many people concerned about privacy issues I keep hearing about all the time. I constantly wonder what new technology, trend or music I'll be dislike in 10, 20, 30 or 40 years. Probably something about those damned kids and their hivemind.

I've seen a Bangladeshi colleague posting about this on facebook for weeks now. When I first noticed I had to look hard to find news articles about what was going on. This is the first I've heard about it not on facebook from any of my semi-regular blog/news gathering sources.

I just felt like commenting because nobody else had.
