"Soul" music, R&B, etc is what I turn to in these situations. There's so much of it and it really sounds good when I get tired of rock or punk or whatever. Curtis Mayfield. Bill Withers, Lil' Stevie Wonder. James Brown songs other than "Sex Machine".

No one played this stuff around me much as a kid and as a younger record nerd this stuff was never "cool" enough for me to collect. But now it sounds so, so perfect to me.

@9 you'd be living pretty clean too if you never had to share an elevator with the hoi polloi.

Don't get me wrong, I love my 15-month-old daughter and wouldn't trade her for the moon. BUT... she was born 7 years into my wife's 10-year-rated Paragard IUD.

I'll never forget what the Dr told us upon confirming that my wife was, indeed, pregnant: "Well, 7 years is pretty good, right?"

We weren't planning on having kids.

Nothing about the City Council of Los Angeles suddenly voting to close all 762 Medical Marijuana dispensaries within city limits?
