My mum breastfed all of us and the closest together she got was two and a half years between children. It -does- work, but it works by postponing ovulation resumption, not stopping it entirely so long as you're lactating.

Augh, hemp rope... Bondage is lovely, but my skin is super-sensitive and can't take scratchy stuff. Hemp is sheer hell; I have to use cotton, synthetic or silk.
