A hollow hand grenade? I hope they didn't arrest him for a paperweight. But it is the feds, so they probably did.

That was pretty disgusting. Now when I hear that song I'm going to vomit a little bit.

Longer speeches--a 70 page speech isn't long enough.

In this case they deserve it. Larry Page is doing some rich-splaining (is there another word?) to the rest of letting us know that our medical privacy concerns are not that important and that only good things will happen to us if we reveal all of our medical issues to the world. He lives in the world of billionaires where none of them has ever been discriminated against in housing, employment, or anything else due to a medical or mental health condition.

Self-injury for the sake of art is not actually art. It is a psychological problem.

Putting a leach on your skin, cutting yourself with razors, bruising yourself, burning yourself, etc., is not art and it should be condemned by anybody who respects art. Self-injury isn't a fucking joke.

@14: Are you serious? I have to ask this because of the insane hate and idiocy that has been directed her way. It is sometimes hard to tell what is sarcasm and what idiots actually believe (I'm hoping for the former).

@15: So what? The Republicans played the asshole card and took a brief beating. Then they were able to reframe the debate against their traumatized opponent as being about character. Eight years later they had two wars, a shitload of religious bullshit passed, a massive transfer of wealth to the rich and war profiteers, and the beginnings of a police state. All in all, it was a pretty good trade for a brief beating in a midterm election.

What is going on here? How did the aborted fetus learn how to write? The only explanation is that Ken Hutcherson is a wizard and cast a necromantic spell to bring it back undead and then spent the rest of time making it into a meat puppet. And don't necromantic spells require you to use other people's trapped souls in payment for magical power over the dead and undead? Does his God know that he is doing this?

@11: The law needs to be passed in any case. I don't know if the act was criminal, but I have no doubt that it was unethical. And for this reason, Holder and his fall guy need to get the boot. Eric Holder is quickly becoming one of those rare members of an administration who is about to be more hated by his own party than by the opposition.

@1: How did that hurt the Republicans? George W. Bush was able to beat that horse all the way to the Presidency (with a little help from SCOTUS).
