I was going to say the same thing as hiddenplace - google about "lucid dreaming" - when you become aware that you're dreaming, but are still able to be in the dream and control what happens, that might help you get over this recurring vagitmare.

That last caller who read the letter from their grandmother made me tear up! Absolutely, there are older people out there who are incredibly open-minded and accepting of others - I'm proud to say one of those people is my grandma! She almost gets more excited to see my boyfriend than me ;)

Stories like the 19 year old guy's make me stop and be so appreciative of my family. My parents love and accept me & my boyfriend, and were so excited that he was coming to spend the holidays at their home. Probably more excited that he was there than me even ;)
It breaks my heart when I hear tales from other gay, lesbian, bi, and transgendered people about how their families disowned them. Dan is absolutely right - you can make your own family. If your blood relatives can't love you for who you are, find your TRUE family!

He was also not able to record any conversations with callers...so he probably didn't want episodes where it was only him responding to calls with zero dialogues between him & others.

I think it was pretty clear from the first time Lucy was on that Dan had her there because the "tech-savvy at-risk youth" were not there, and he wanted a sounding board so he wasn't sitting in a room by himself talking into a microphone.

For a free podcast, a lot of people have a lot of demands.
It sounds like Dan is kind of busy with the MTV college tour/show, and is putting the Lovecast together when he can squeak it in. And if he wants a sounding board since the tech team isn't there to record callbacks, etc. he's entitled to have someone like Lucy on to fill that role.
Also, he's entitled because IT'S HIS FUCKING SHOW.
That said...I think Dan softballed the question on the college guy who wouldn't go down on a caller unless she told him when the last time she had sex was.
If both parties meet up for sex...I think the general expectation is that your junk is going to be clean. I'd never dream of asking someone as we're getting into it on my bed to clarify when the last time they had sex was, and if it was within x amount of time I'd refuse to give head. I'd expect they'd toweled and washed off since the last time, unless I was filming a gangbang scene.
Slutshaming? Probably not. More homophobia and general reluctance to go down on a woman. Guys like that don't deserve blowjobs, caller. They deserve a fleshjack and some sanitizing wipes, cuz they got issues.

If that guy couldn't get it up most of the time, I'd suggest everything you said DavidSavage (#36). But if this is a every so often type of deal, it's pretty normal, and usually due to mental pressure to perform. Nothing to go get an entire cholesterol screening about.

Solid advice all around...I think the skid mark thing wasn't the worst thing in the world. Sometimes you aren't at home and the toilet paper in a public toilet just doesn't do the full job...shit happens (ugh, I did it again. Sorry). Though on the flip side, if it's leaving giant skid marks, maybe he didn't wipe at all, and THAT'S a problem.

Plus, as #15 pointed out, maybe he looks and sounds functional when he's that drunk. Maybe she didn't realize he was that drunk and maybe he indicated he was consenting to sex. There's too many "maybes" for there to be any sure way to label this rape or not.
Fact is, though, he felt violated, and he should absolutely cut off all ties to this woman. Get a new number, block her on social media sites, yadda yadda. And DON'T BINGE DRINK. Scary, bad things happen when you're so intoxicated that you don't remember and have little to no control over what you do, or what happens to you. Be responsible and safe.
