Re: "genetic diversity", yes and no.

Yes, it's true that all that scrambling of genes among different races will create millions of never before seen combinations.

At the same time, we'll see the dilution of the distinct confluences of genes responsible for differences in racial phenotypes. The result of random mixing over generations is an averaging out - our species is regressing to the mean, racially speaking.

So, just as geographically isolated prehistoric tribes tended to have a homogeneous look, so will we, only the boundaries of our isolation will be planetary rather than geographic.
I loved Mathambo's first (!) album, his version of 'Control' was both excellent and a savvy marketing move. Clearly he's a force to be reckoned with.

To Charles' point about expecting musicians in a globalized world to start sounding alike... I say: Really?

Seems to me that as western musical instruments were moved around the globe locals used them to express their local culture. Viz. Fela. That and people started electrifying their own local instruments. With electronic sampling locals can sample their own sounds... And this way here will always be increasing heterogeneity in the musical (as well as biological-genetic) world(s).

No, it's being systematically erased along with every other culture. Take a trip to Neah bay and tell me if that culture is healthier than pre-contact. Sure; theres always going to be a portion of your experience that is interpreted as beautiful art; but don't pretend "the man" isn't as corrupt as ever. I suspect a dusting of dormant stockholm syndrome here; as blacks/Africans have historically been dealt the worst hand via globalism.
