I wish I had low enough moral character to pretend to have a debilitating illness, because I'd love access to the prescription stuff. Which makes me think you are right: I'm not that price sensitive, and the meetup is more of a hassle than walking into a pot store, so - true - I'll probably buy it from the store once it's legal.

I suspect your purse analogy is off, though: I bet the fake Louis Vuitton purses outnumber the real ones by a wide, wide margin.

I don't know if you've tried the "legal" prescription stuff, but in my experience it blows away even the highest quality local stuff. Also, not sure where you're getting good stuff for $200 an oz, but I'm guessing that you're getting friend prices. Sadly, I haven't had a source in over a year, but last time I did I was looking at $280 an ounce, and THAT was a friend price. It was quality, though.
