I've been hoping for a Rangers - Kings final since they started out plastering the Canucks - it would be a great finals. Quick vs. Lundquist, epic goalie battle.

Last nights game was a sign of destiny - it's usually the Rangers that are on the sorry end of those miraculous comebacks. Just beat the fucking Caps for once Rangers!

Huh? Name me a market in North America that currently doesn't have the NHL that's better suited to the NHL. Kansas City? Quebec City? The Seattle area is affluent. It has traditionally supported minor-league hockey. There's a natural rivalry with Vancouver.

Having said all that, I hope the Coyotes stay in Phoenix. There's just something awesome about hockey taking root in Arizona. Even crotchety, old John McCain rooted on the Coyotes at one of the games in this series. Anything that humanizes John McCain has got to be a good thing.

Anyway, agreed with SeattleKim @3. The LA Kings are a juggernaut.
