I don't read myself anymore, but I check out a synopsis of the big storylines now and again. sad that we have to rely on comic books to lead the way on issues as important as this one.

As a parent and member of OneMillionMoms.com, I'm angry that you would use a children's superhero character to help endorse shirtless lifestyles and glorify the homosexual wearing of purple pants.

Unfortunately, children are now being exposed to bare-chested giant green rage monsters and the gay purple pants choice in your comic books. Gay adults do not need shirtless purple pants-wearing gym junkies as role models. Your company is damaging impressionable young minds by placing these gay Avengers on pedestals in a positive light. As a Christian, I know that purple pants are a sin. The Bible states this clearly in Romans 1:26-27.

A comic book is the last place a parent would expect to be confronted with fashion questions from their children on topics that are too complicated for them to understand. Issues of this nature are being introduced too early and too soon, which is extremely unnecessary.

Please do the right thing and reverse your decision to have purple pants displayed to young readers. My decision to support your company and parent company depends on it.

I look forward to hearing from you regarding my concern.
