      <![CDATA[You know, I'm sick of hearing how DJs are just button pushers, only to have that opinion be perpetuated by asshats like Deadmau5.  At the purely physical level, sure, call us low level technicians, but theres a lot more going on up there than pushing buttons, and I don't think anybody other than DJs/musicians/appreciators realize just how much the music being played can set the vibe of the whole bar/club/gallery etc.  That being said, for every dumdum asking silly/annoying questions to a DJ, there's at least one dumdum screaming "Freebird" at a band or some jerkoff not tipping a bartender/server for some perceived slight.  Entitlement, man, what a bitch.
