Arriving in Auckland on the north island, the train ride in first class had been interesting. I was sunburned from two weeks in Fiji, as sun tan lotion wears off if you put a white t-shirt over it while swimming with sharks in the coral reefs - this was just before one of the military coups, but sharks don't care about that.

As we traveled south, we saw more and more sheep.

So, as we saw the lights of Dunedin in the evening, before you could see houses, Fran said to me "Look, it's the lights of Dunedin!"

I turned to her and said "No. It's sheep. With flashlights."
