      <![CDATA[These are not "high end units", I can assure you, @1. The developers planned to turn the building's state that way, but it is very clearly not the reality on site. So, I don't know how your words relate to the situation at hand.<br />
<br />
I'm associated with a not-for-profit tech/education space in the building but hadn't been involved in building issues. I'll check with our board to see what the details are; it sounds like a very typical tenant squeeze by investors.

      <![CDATA[Artists are poor as a rule.  Any one that goes into business with an artist must know and embrace this fact.  Doing otherwise is a formula for heart break and disaster.  But poor artists can not expect to live in high end units either.  Artists must know and embrace that fact.
