But as I've said, they've moved on. If she had had enough of them a year ago, she would at least have made it through a few primaries. But she didn't, and now she has even less of a soapbox to remind people that she exists.

I think this is the end of the line for her. Sure, occasionally we'll hear from her as she does something out of sheer desperation for attention, as she's a kind of suburban, political, and drug-free Courtney Love. But there won't be any more TV shows, any radio appearances, any books, any requests for her opinion.

Oh, and public office? Please. Refer back to her resignation. Parties hate quitters. It's why she couldn't even get enough support to simply begin in the primaries last year.
