<![CDATA[Best Mediterranean in Seattle. Been there a few times now, and always a pleasure. I'd write more, but who's got the time. Just give it a try if you like middle eastern, or food from the Med..

<![CDATA[the babaganoush was good. the salad was a big pile on too small of a plate and pieces of it kept falling off as i tried to eat it. the salad dressing was tasty but there was a giant pool of it at the bottom of the plate--way too much. my marinated chicken was a bit dry but had good flavor and the chicken gyro was absolutely disgusting. my boyfriend kept calling it chicken paper--thin tasteless unrecognizable pieces of chicken. the very young high school looking waitress was sweet but slow and not all that attentive. no, thanks...

<![CDATA[George is a hoot, and the food is terrific. Turns out he's no relation to the wrestler Gorgeous George, but he is from Jerusalem (he'll come out and talk with you if it's not too busy) and the food is an authentic as you can find in Seattle. I found the place in Greenwood while searching for a new lunch spot. The fellafel is probably the best in Seattle, the hummus is fantastic. Be ready for a lot of food, the prices are not budget oriented, but you will leave with your lunch for the next day. Definitely worth the drive. The dressing on his salad is so refreshing, I wish I knew what was in it.

<![CDATA[My falafel lunch plate was outstanding and, with it's tahini sauce, entirely vegan. The dressing on the salad was so fresh and unique, basil, mint, garlic and oil. The mint tea that I ordered even had a fresh sprig of mint in it. My friend's meat sandwich was also uniquely and exquisitely flavored. Outstanding!

<![CDATA[George does a great job with all three of those dishes. I've never had falafal like his (wonderful, crunchy nuggets) or baklava (not too sweet, not too sticky, just excellent!). Don't miss this cute neighborhood joint, it easily beats out King Falafel, Kabob House, or Yanni's (which used to be wonderful, now not so good).

<![CDATA[His food is great the best I've tasted around here in a long time. The place is a little dark during the day and can be hard to spot since all interior lights were off. I would order fron there more often if the prices were listed on the menu and their was someone to answer the phone calls on orders during lunch (I left 2 messages with no response). I love to go to places local and small businesses but it needs to be convenient too. Also a smile and a kind word should not be too much to expect especially when your building a new business. I'm sure it will do well as soon as all the bugs get worked out.
