<![CDATA[Where do you find amazing Vegan food that’s affordable and packed with variety!
Fadi is the original owner of Flower’s on the Ave. Fadi built it from the ground up 17 years ago and has been serving the best vegan food at affordable prices ever sense. 3 weeks ago 2 guys and a girl walked out of Flowers saying that was the best vegan meal they ever had. I decided to give it a go! Can you guess what happened? That’s right: I fell in love and am now blogging about the amazing experience I had at Flower’s tons of vegan restaurants and nothing compares to Flowers.
Because of Flower’s international popularity people from all around the world make it a point to visit Flower’s while in Seattle. Sweden, Australia, Scotland, UK just to name a few. This is the only place to be for awesome vegan food in Seattle! OK not the only place to be, but in my opinion the BEST! I absolutely love this place! The vegan buffet is a wonderful combination of over 20 different plates for you to enjoy. Perhaps you might have a great time to! Go try it today! And say hi to Fadi
P.S. There is only a small, small amount of oil in the buffet. Fadi is very health conscious and beleves in serving foods that he personally love to eat. Now that’s another reason to love this guy and his good service he’s doing for Seattle. Try today!

<![CDATA[I sometimes like to think that there are two Flowers: one of them has a respectable vegetarian buffet and flavorful, attractive sandwiches that posses the proper consistency of sandwiches everywhere (the meat is cooked, the vegetables ripe, the bread solid). The other has a hard time stocking the buffet and offers bland, bland, bland sandwiches on soggy bread a half-step up from wonderbread. I never know which one I'm going to get going in. I've stopped ordering sandwiches altogether-- when I go in now, it's mostly for drinks, because the one thing Flowers has consistently is one of the best-stocked bars in the U-district.

<![CDATA[I live close to Flowers and go there often with friends for food and/or drinks. Almost every time we have gone for the buffet, I have not partaken because most of the plates were empty or looked like they had not been refreshed in 8 hours. Not too appetizing. However, their menu items (especially the falafel and gourmet sandwiches) are excellent. (Although apparently due to a kitchen fire they are not currently cooking food? I don't know how much longer this will be the case.)
The service is hit and miss. I don't really recommend going in before 5pm if you don't want to spend a lot of time waiting for your order (I don't understand why this happens, even if we are the only people in the restaurant), but at night the wait staff are usually more on top of things.
Drinks are excellent and they use fresh ingredients.

<![CDATA[I went here with my friend who ordered the gardenburger. She was served a real burger and only after taking a bite did we realize the mistake. This was no small mistake and my (hindi) friend looked close to throwing up. The waiter made it quite clear that it was no big deal and brought the "real" gardenburger. In my experience, this place is pretty crappy and really made me mad.

(although her burger WAS good!)

<![CDATA[I've always enjoyed the vegetarian buffet, even when some items have cooled and congealed you get a delightful mix of flavors and textures. The owner (chef?) is very friendly and the place just has a nice feel as well.
