<![CDATA[I had a brunch there recently and I was really disappointed. The service was not so great. Our food took a long time, longer than people who were seated after us. I'm pretty sure she forgot to put our order in. When it finally did come, our eggs were poached hard. We sent them back. When I asked if there might be any ketchup the server replied that "this is not that kind of restaurant, dear" as she patted me condescendingly on the shoulder. No need to touch the customers, thanks.

<![CDATA[There are very few options for a well-heeled lunch in lower Queen Anne, but that is okay because the Boat Street is all that is necessary. The sandwiches are fantastic and the pate plate is a great way to bolster up for a long afternoon in the office. In the summertime, the outdoor sitting is a blessing.

<![CDATA[I am a dinner regular, and have yet to be disappointed. In fact, I can't get enough. Excellent food, service, and wine list.
I have not been as impressed with brunch in the adjacent Boat Street Kitchen. Perhaps the Cafe sets the bar too high for the Kitchen to compare? In any event, I found the service to be lacking and the food sub-par--sloppy and even careless. My Oeufs Plat was runny! My wife's benedict was luke warm.

Don't miss the cafe for dinner. maybe skip the kitchen for brunch though.

<![CDATA[Have been here for dinner and brunch, and have never been disappointed. A delightful small place with excellent service, and food that is exceptionally fresh, local and seasonal. I vividly remember grilled salmon and tomato salad last year that both exploded with the flavor of summer. The location is funky and parking is awkward, but these are minor inconveniences to overcome for such great food.
