Folks around here confuse crappy agenda-laden polls of five people with data quite a lot.

Elenchos also has a very dry sense of humor that doesn't always work, but does often enough to make up for the times it does. Jerky, yes, but jerky's the favorite dish of most Sloggers.

His intelligence isn't at issue, though. What he IS, though, is a shrill, hypocritical, childish asswipe, as evidenced by the way he's conducted himself on the panhandling issue. Being disrespectful but demanding respect or else he's gonna block you. Demanding concrete data and facts, then ignoring it when it's presented. Claiming that everyone is guilty of groupthink, but failing to build a rational argument for his case. Contempt for anyone who disagrees with him, but getting butthurt when he's paid in kind. These things are wearisome.

Elenchos has earned the disrespect of a lot of the SLOG community. He has his friends and his defenders, which is fine. But he has a long record of general jerkiness too, and not all of us find that charming.

It's safe for work and soundless--it's a collection of photoshopping so bad, the results are actually sort of horrifying. Most of Lindy's tags actually are applicable.
