Please don't post anything else about Blomstrom, you're giving him exactly what he's craving (and it ain't electrolytes). Acknowledging his existence only encourages him.
And unlike Lippman, Blomstrom is not only mentally unstable, he's a Grade-A Asshole. I can tolerate mentally unstable "candidates" (every town has a couple), as they are often benign. Crazy, yet harmless. Blomstrom, on the otherhand, is little more than a hate-filled sociopath. We seriously don't need to feed his imbalance, we should instead pray (yes, even The Stranger should pray) that he will go away quietly without harming others.
