You are correct in that we're all various "-ists", probably we're all every "-ists". But that doesn't make you right.

Saying women don't seem to want to put up with rejection is, however, the source of your inaccuracy here. There's no data behind that that I'm aware of, and any anecdotal data on anyone's part is going to be colored by their expectations and assumptions (and a healthy dose of confirmation bias) and be practically unusable here.

Never mind the fact that saying "women are" (or, I'll admit, in your slightly fairer statement "women seem") and the beliefs that bring about those statements are the sexism that then mold another generation to behave in the way that's expected of them. There's never a universal that we see, but rather a behavior that's been conditioned. By believing that those behaviors are universals, we only serve to reinforce them.

Sorry, this is my rant. Maybe you're not calling out things you think are universals, and maybe you don't actually believe all women are, or have to be, that way.

I'm not a comic, but a common thread among successful comedians (male and female) seems to be a willingness to fail over and over, and to endure a lot of humiliation and failure until they figure out their routine. Women seem not to want to put up with that shit (I wouldn't either!) and drop out at higher rates in the face of such an unpleasant growing/learning environment. But it isn't really sexist, just brutal.
