"Most dinner theater is execrable: food fit for cruise ships, theater fit for fools. But mystery (fictional?) chef Nordo Lefeszcki, leader of the "carnal food" movement, brings something darker and weirder to the exercise—a five-course tragi-comedy (with wine) about the life and death of a chicken, from egg to chick to bloody mess to your plate. It begins with a grassy parsley shot (with crème fraîche and lemon curd) and ends with a roast chicken, homemade sausage, and habanero cherries. A footnote on his menu gives a sense of the Nordo attitude: "Dietary restrictions? Certainly you have a shrink who will care."
