An affectionate, borderline-fawning look at the history of ventriloquism, light on insight and heavy on lengthy appearances by modern comedy monolith Jeff Dunham and his Islamic Terrorist Skeleton puppet. I’m No Dummy is not without its fascinating moments, particularly when it briefly ventures into the boundlessly creepy lifestyle of Edgar Bergen, but the unimaginative staging and cheap Casio score keep this strictly on a wait for TV level.
