Goofy, likeable, ultra-low-budget Italian sci-fi about mind-boggling TV signals, a mysterious cable car to the skies, aggro space chickens… and the fate of the human race. Most of the jokes are about the ironic gap between scientific possibility and the diegesis (hey... there’s no gravity in space!), and that gets old after a while. But the writers-directors-producers-cinematographers-stars-etc. are charming enough to pull you through the rough spots. Baby filmmakers, pay heed: You too can do much with little. (All multihyphenates scheduled to attend.)
