Dir. Werner Herzog
Werner Herzog’s latest takes him to Antarctica, where he finds a patchwork of interesting souls, from the banker-turned-driver of “Ivan the Terra Bus,” to a philosopher forklift operator, to a linguist living and working on a continent with no languages. The ultimate message about Antarctica’s future may be bleak, but Herzog has, as usual, found a way to make his film very much full of life.
