In three chapters by three separate directors, this wild Korean omnibus film manages to filter the impulse to kill oneself through seemingly every possible cinematic genre—action, drama, slapstick, kung fu, video game, romance, surreal absurdism. First, a schoolgirl who has missed her exams is the one who wants to die; then, a stifled policeman distracted by a girl, two hoodlums, and a bird; and finally, an aging gay widower who swaps places with a doomed criminal. Every ending is better than happy.
