This lame documentary, by the son of animator Frank Thomas, drips with such clannish Disney worship that I can’t imagine it’s destined for anywhere but DVD extras. On the eve of World War II, Walt Disney and a few of his employees were asked to do some South American outreach by the State Department. They complied, and some dancing and cocktails later, two Latin-flavored feature films were issued. As those films testify, little cultural exchange went on during the trip. This doc should only be screened if Disney is paying for the privilege.
