Nobody's bad at Bad Albert's: The staff is friendly, and the regulars are, um, regular. (The real Bad Albert was the former owner's cat.) Bad Albert's was Tailgaters for a while, but now it's Bad Albert's again.

This is one of those places that has a good burger mostly because of what they put on it. The burger itself is lost in the concoction (unlike say, the attic, 22 doors, BOKA, etc). This is more six arms style (probably the masters of this genre). So if you like that kind of thing, have at it. Personally I'm a purist and like a big fat burger and hold everything - if it's really good you can hold the bun.

Nothing like a Bad Albert's breakfast. And the staff is cool and friendly, and have great music picks!

Bad Albet's is known in Ballard to have high quality, great tasting food. The Dock Street Burger is my favorite with white chedder and crisp bacon. They also have delicious sandwichs and yummy salads. Bad Albert's is the best place to eat in Ballard

We love going to Bad Albert's because the food is always delicious, the staff is always friendly, the beer is always cold and the location is perfect...what more could you want?

Love their weekend breakfast. The food is wonderful. It's a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee and read the Sunday paper. Great atmosphere and lovely employees. Convenient location.

Breakfast (on weekends) lunch and dinner. It's all here and all very good. The staff kicks ass and the atmosphere is relaxed. Great selection of local beers. Only complaint: The music has changed to some sort of automated noise machine. The staff did a much better job.

This place has it all: a nice little beer and wine selection, consistently good service, tasty breakfasts on the weekends with all manner of eggs Benedict, and prime rib on Fridays that rivals anything you've had at the fancy places downtown. (Get there promptly at five when they start serving or you will miss out on it!) You can't go wrong if you are heading to Bad Albert's for the evening...or the morning for that matter.

You can't go wrong with anything on the menu it's all delicious, and their beer selection rocks, but you have to try the reuben. They make their own corned beef and it's absolutely fantastic. Can you believe it? A place in Seattle that makes its own corned beef!

My husband and I have been eating at Albert's for 10 years and have rarely been disappointed in anything. The food is fresh, well-made, and affordable and served with a smile and plenty of hospitality. Drinks are tasty, affordable, and the beer and wine selection is very good--not extensive, but well-balanced and an excellent match for the food. Specials are tasty--great Prime Rib twice a week and delicious cheap tacos on Tuesdays!--and the soups and salads are always fresh. It's also a great place to just relax with your neighbors--even if you aren't from Ballard the place has the friendly feel of your neighborhood joint. Terrific stuff!

Always friendly staff, the service food and drinks are the best in the area.

I can't say enough good things about Bad Albert's. The food is better than your average bar food and has a nice range - you can get excellent burgers and sandwiches as well as some very good pasta and chicken dishes. The most important thing for me is the staff - always friendly and attentive. There isn't better service in Ballard.

Great staff, food is good but the menu could stand to change a bit more often, cold beer, iffy clientele (as Martha would say, "A good thing!".) Please let the staff choose the music, the canned cable thang is horrible!

Consistently yummy food, diverse crowd, great old Ballard location, and the nicest staff in town. I agree with the other reviewers about the canned music, makes me feel like I'm at a mall...yikes!

I am always looking for breakfast places that have vegetarian options beyond pancakes. They have a whole section of vegetarian options. Mostly egg focused though, so not optimal for vegans. The vegetarian benedict was well prepared, and the blood mary was nice and spicy. Not a fancy place, just perfect for when you want to schlep around in your sweats and baseball hat. We'll be back.

I love this place!!! Great food!! Great Service!!! To be honest I go back for the servers. Bryan, Andra and Shawna have all been there for years and seem to really take pride in their jobs. They get it right, all while they have a good time. The food is the icing on the cake of every trip. I am kinda picky and they do their best to make my food exactly how I want it. Thanks Guys!!!!
