I love this place! And ladies, if you go there ask for Tyler. He is so cute and makes the best drinks. I don't care what other people say, Ballroom Rocks!

a paint splattered tee shirt guy and a girl w giant sunglasses from the east coast visit seattle for a wedding and crave pizza. go to the ballroom and have the best night ever. not only are the steelers playin on the 80 million big screen plasmas, but the waitress kicked ass. she was the best waitress ever, ever! try to sit at a table where the star tatted girl works. and the pizza was so so so good, and HUGE!

try it weekdays!

The Ballroom is the perfect bar if you just stay away fri and sat nights. It has pool, pizza, happy hour till 7. They have these great garage windows that open to let the fresh air in, and a huge patio out front. The bartenders are always nice and the music is always good. i love that it is my local neighborhood hang. i love sitting by the fire outside. come try it!

go on a weeknight

thanks to the rampant idiocy on display here during the weekend, the ballroom is often used as shorthand for everything that's gone wrong with fremont in the last few years. but the place and the people who work there should not be held responsible for the dumbfuckery their patrons indulge in. just about everyone who works there is cool and interesting and generally good peeps, and the newly covered patio is an absolute gem. the drinks are solid, the prices reasonable, and even though they've niced up the place, it's still a comfy spot to kick it with friends or just chill solo and watch the people go by. so yeah, avoid like the plague on the weekend, when it's amateur night every night, but come in on a weeknight and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
