Baltic Room (Capitol Hill)

1207 Pine St
Seattle, WA 98101

Website

The Baltic Room hosts top-shelf DJs and occasional live acts with superb sound, an intimate dance floor, and plenty of seating room. The place is swank without being stuffy, and when the dance floor fills up it feels more like a house party than a nightclub.

GREAT spot on Tuesdays!!

Come on out to the longest running weekly drum & bass night in the nation...13 years and still going strong! Check their facebook page for current lineups.

Coffee Shop in the Baltic Room

I went here with my friend the other day and really liked it. We came during the day for the coffee shop but happily the bar was open too. I got a drip coffee and he got a beer and then we did the same, only switched. They have Cafe Vita which is much better than some other coffee you will get in Seattle *cough* Stumptown *cough* and Macrina Pastries which everyone knows are delicious. Their beer selection was also decent, I tried Peroni which is one of my new faves. The space is airy and cozy at the same time, with lots of couches. I suggest it for anyone looking to escape the usual Capitol Hill haunts.
