Restaurant Details

  • Belle Epicurean specializes in really, really good sweet and savory brioche buns—aka Belle’s Buns—which come in flavors like double cherry, blackberries and cream, and rosemary pesto. The pastries, desserts, simple sandwiches, and salads are also excellent. Owner Carolyn Ferguson trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and has the certificate (a coveted “Grand Diplome”) on the wall to prove it. You may also find the Buns at the U-District farmer's market and in the Fairmont Hotel.
