THE OLD PEQULIAR1722 NW Market St, 782-8886A few days after St. Patrick's Day, I walked past the OLD PEQULIAR in Ballard while on a jaunt to the supermarket. It was kind of sad to see a window washer carefully scraping paint off the front windows. Shamrocks, leprechauns, all that Irish stuff, had been painted on in celebration of the one day the pub looks forward to. And now it was over. Later that evening, though, I had to return to the store (I forgot a tomato). Not only was the Old Pequliar bumpin', but it looked like it was still St. Patrick's Day inside. With pool, darts, live music, and plenty of beer (especially Irish beer) on tap, every day is a party. MEGAN SELING
