OTIS CAFE
1005 Boren Ave, 342-9866
I discovered OTIS CAFE when I was invited to be part of a monthly roundtable coordinated by John Boylan. The subject was America as Empire, and the place was warm and pleasantly cluttered. The wine was good and only cost $4.10 a glass--nowhere else in this damn city can you find reasonable wine for that price. I went there again last night and enjoyed three more glasses of wine and a superb chicken sandwich that was buried by the fresh mass of a Greek salad. This is one of the best places in Seattle.
